Lots of people in the Northern Territory have a mango tree or two in their backyard, and during the mango fruiting season there's always someone giving their mangoes away. This is the mango farm I stayed at over the 2010 easter break. Harvesting in September-March is hard work under the NT's sweltering conditions and UV rays, with casual pickers such as tourists usually employed to get the job done.
